Cancelling your order
You can cancel by yourself while your order says “Order placed” or “Awaiting payment”.
- Open the order in My orders.
- Tap Cancel order.
After the business accepts, cooking has started, so the app no longer lets you cancel. Send a help request with your order code (for example BMF-1047). The business decides.
Unpaid online orders
If you chose online payment and did not finish paying, the order is cancelled by itself after 30 minutes. No money was taken, so there is nothing to refund.
When the business cancels or rejects
The business can reject an order (it tells you why) or cancel it.
Refunds
- Paid online, then rejected or cancelled: a full refund starts by itself. Your order shows “Refund in progress”, then “Refunded”.
- The money goes back the way you paid. Your bank or UPI app decides how long it takes to arrive.
- Cash on delivery: you pay only when the food arrives, so there is nothing to refund.
Demo store: online payments run in test mode, so refunds are tests too. No real money moves. Real refunds start when the business connects its live Razorpay keys.
Something wrong with a delivered order
There is no automatic refund for a delivered order. Send a help request, choose “Booking or order help” and add your order code. The business looks at each case and replies. If you are signed in, the reply shows in your account.
Changing an order
You cannot edit an order after you place it. While it still says “Order placed”, cancel it and order again.
