No ad or tracking cookies
Book My Food does not use cookies for ads or tracking. There are no third-party tracking or ad scripts.
What your browser keeps
The site saves a few small items in your browser’s storage, on your device only:
- Your cart, so it is still there if you reload the page.
- Your saved dishes (the hearts), on this device only.
- Your sign-in, so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.
- Small display choices, such as a closed banner.
These are needed for the site to work, so there is nothing to switch off. To remove them, sign out, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Anonymous usage counting
To improve this website, Book My Food may count how the site is used, for example which pages are seen and which main buttons are tapped.
- The counts go only to Book My Food.
- No cookies. A random id is kept in your browser instead.
- Never your name, number, flat, payment details or messages.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.
Other websites the pages load from
- Unsplash: sample food photos.
- OpenStreetMap: map tiles while you track a delivery.
- Razorpay: only when you pay online.
Your browser’s requests to them include your IP address. They have their own privacy rules.
