Run the kitchen board
A resident’s order lands on the live board; the kitchen turns the sound on, accepts with an ETA, opens the 80 mm kitchen ticket (KOT) and moves the order through preparing to ready.

- 0:06Step 1 · Open the board: Kitchen staff open Orders: the live board with New, Preparing, Ready and Out for delivery.
- 0:11Step 1 · Sound on: First tap the floating banner: browsers keep the new-order chime muted until you tap once.
- 0:18Step 2 · New order: A resident’s order lands in New: tower, flat and floor, paid or cash, every item. It chimes until accepted.
- 0:25Step 3 · Accept with an ETA: Tap Accept, then pick the minutes until it reaches the door. The resident’s tracker counts down to it.
- 0:31Step 3 · Accept with an ETA: Accepted: the order moves to Preparing with its due time, and gets its GST invoice number.
- 0:39Step 4 · Print the KOT: The printer icon opens the 80 mm kitchen ticket (KOT) and prints it: flat, items with options, paid or cash.
- 0:48Step 5 · Preparing: Start preparing when cooking begins. Late risk at the top counts orders due within 5 minutes.
- 0:55Step 6 · Ready: Mark ready when it is packed. Ready orders wait in rider mode for a rider to claim, or assign one here.
